Gwendolyn (Empty Demon, Sin of Greed)

Under the scorching sun, Gwendolyn received a box outside her palace gates. She brought it to her garden patio and set it on the table, pondering aloud, “Who sent this to me? How intriguing.” Opening the box, she pulled out a black, pulsating orb that vibrated in her hands like a purring cat. “What is this? How interesting, it feels satisfying to hold.” She played with the orb for what felt like hours, but only 20 minutes had passed. Setting it aside, she fell into deep thought. "What if I had someone to share my wealth with?" Though childish, her loneliness and the emptiness of her hands that the orb left drove her curiosity. "Actually, I don't think I will. They will just steal everything anyway." She changed her mind instantly as soon as the thought appeared.

Her gaze remained distant, arms folded under her breasts, each moment intensified her frustration, deepening the void within her. "What is it that I need? I want to stop feeling like this," she murmured, her fist clenched with rising emotion. "What do I even want? Is there a point?" Sadness clouded her eyes, hopelessness creeping in as she pondered fulfillment beyond material possessions. "Maybe..." she trailed off softly, then shook her head in denial. "No, impossible! There must be another solution..." Despite her defiance, doubt gnawed at her, the weight of reality settling in.
