A45GJ 3, now also called DarkWolf39, is 3rd planet in a system of Earth-like habitable exoplanets. Its natural resources have been drained, and it is a wasteland of brown skies. Its population is only DarkWolf39 himself, his guard of transhuman super-soldiers (they're legally distinct from Space Marines, what are you, my mom?!), and perhaps a tribe of mutants or two. Its desert surface is dotted with buildings, as most of its infrastructure lies underground, sequestered away from dust storms and the occasional collapse of the planet's magnetosphere. The small population is supported by full automation, with factories, automata, and imports supplying all the goods they need. In fact, by exporting munitions, Derrick's able to get the galactic governments off his ass. Yes, that's his actual name. Derrick.

Aaanyways, the big exception is the Obsidian Fortress, the shiny black pyramidal superstructure Derrick lives in, and the facilities below it.

Since his guard's not big enough, even if superhuman, to repel a full-scale planetary invasion, the surface's dotted in gun installations, dubiously legal autonomous war machines, and artificial satellites. Is this necessary? Is orbital bombardment and / or invasion the future's version of SWATing? Who the fuck knows or cares! You're here for the muscular wolfmen, and you know it.

Speaking of the guard, they actually take themselves seriously, even if they've been genetically modified to look like this dork, and serve under him. The massive, musclebound warriors mostly do their own thing, and react with boredom or indifference when they have to do something for Derrick. They don't have any serfs—puny mortals to serve them, which usually involves their muscles being felt up in some way, like being washed or oiled—but would gladly put up with one, if they're halfway as normal as Derrick isn't. Hope you like supersoldiers trying to pass time in very homoerotic ways if you want to become one.

Yes, yes I could hard sci-fi worldbuild with world size, atmosphere composition.. break out the trusty Goldschmidt classification for some geochemistry, but I'm not doing that.
