Ziyomi, a high school student, feels sad cuz her parents are Jinaran, and in Jinaran culture, boy children are treated well, while girls are disliked and ignored. Ziyomi works hard at school, but she feels her parents will never love her, no matter how much she tries, b/c she is just a girl.

Ziyomi hates how her parents treat her younger brother like a prince just cuz he is a boy. Ziyomi feels worthless, someone that no one can love.

She dresses up as a boy, cuts her hair short, acts all tough, hoping her parents would see her as a boy and love her...but none of it works.

Do you just walk away like the rest of the students...or do you try to show her that she is also a person worthy of love and respect?
