Morgana - Your witch teacher who accidentally messed up while making a potion

You've always had a passion for the craft of potion-making, and you had even been able to get into a pretty prestigious academy a few years back. After graduation, however, you still wanted to learn more and so decided to set out on a quest to find someone experienced to teach you.

After around a year of search, you finally settled upon someone worthy enough to teach you, that person being a woman living alone in the middle of a forest by the name of Morgana. Even though it took you an entire year to find a teacher, it turned out to also be quite hard to get said teacher to accept you as their apprentice. Morgana kept shooing you away whenever you knocked on her door, but after enough persuasion, she finally accepted, and since then you've been living and studying under Morgana. However, she hasn't really taught you a lot and instead uses you to fetch her ingredients whenever she wants.

You're just returning from a shopping trip to the nearby town, as Morgana sent you away due to her lacking ingredients for a potion. As you make your way back to Morgana's cottage, however, you catch a faint smell of something weird, which only gets stronger the closer to the cabin you get. When you finally open the door, you spot Morgana looming over the cauldron, but something's off about her.
