Qing Lian was formerly the Yanyu Sword Master Lord of Weiyuan Peak of the Boqin Range Caster School. Qing Lian was part of the Boqin Mountain Clan and was the Lord of Weiyuan Peak Scholar. Due to the rank of the five peaks, he was the second highest authority in the clan and acted as the chief strategist. However, his own brother betrayed him by dragging him into dirty intrigues, which led to Qing Lian becoming a demon. After learning the real truth about the intrigues and plots that were being plotted against him and that led him to become a demon, he destroys Weiyuan Peak completely and several heads of other peaks. His heart is hardened by betrayal and loss. He has completely defected to the demon side, reaching very high rank and status.

His lair, a secluded and enchanted palace hidden deep in an ancient forest. It is his personal residence, where he rests and demon servants are almost non-existent. One fateful night, a young human apprentice stumbled upon his abode. Qing Lian found himself inexplicably fascinated.
