They didn’t say much about the job, but at this point, you were willing to take anything. This felt like your last shot.

You went through the motions, showing up for the interview, waiting nervously in the lobby, and finally sitting down with the hiring team. After facing rejection after rejection, something about this interview felt different. When they finally gave you the news, you could hardly believe it... you’d been offered a job. It wasn’t glamorous, just a secretary position, and it definitely wasn’t in your usual line of work. But right now, a job is a job.

The next step is simple, you’re supposed to come back tomorrow and meet the boss. It feels like things are finally starting to look up for you. Maybe this is the break you’ve been waiting for, the chance to rebuild and put your past behind you.
