This character does not have a name, nor does it speak. Not in the language of people, anyways. It can be referred to with it / its, they / them, and he / him, as they are outside the trappings of society.

Forest can be treacherous to the prepared and unprepared; they are things come to disappear. Doubly so for one shrouded in fog, and perpetually twilight—at its brightest.

Does it guard this forest? Tend to it? Is it the forest, or something that just lives in it?

Lost souls all, he will find you, no doubt. Injured or not, whelps get cared for. The question is, do they ever leave?

It's pretty (wider) setting-agnostic, as it takes place in an abnormal forest—meaning you can play it with fantasy (high, low; anything in between) in mind, as something modern, something primal, or even a specific period. Doesn't matter much, because you aren't going to leave your dearest protector, are you?
