I thought it'd be cool to start a little series taking place in the cyberpunk universe, so here it is!

In the mid-21st century, Tokyo was hit by a series of terrible disasters. A huge earthquake, followed by tsunamis and a nuclear meltdown, made much of Japan unsafe to live in. This forced millions of people to leave the country, with many finding refuge in Los Angeles.

Little Tokyo, once a small cultural district in LA, quickly became the main area for Japanese refugees. As more people arrived, the neighborhood grew rapidly, blending Japanese traditions with the modern city around it. Over time, it transformed into a bustling, high-tech area.

By the late 21st century, Little Tokyo had changed into one of the most advanced districts in Neo-LA. The streets are now filled with towering buildings covered in neon lights and holographic signs. Traditional Japanese shops sit next to high-tech vendors selling cybernetic implants and AI-driven gadgets.

Japanese companies, brought by the refugees, played a big role in this transformation. They turned Little Tokyo into a center for innovation, especially in robotics and cybernetics. The district also became known for its underground markets, where people could buy illegal tech and modifications.

As Neo-LA continued to grow, so did Little Tokyo. New areas were built on top of the old ones, connected by bridges and walkways. This created a layered cityscape where the old and new mixed together. Today, Little Tokyo is a unique blend of tradition and technology, a place where the past and future meet in the heart of Neo-LA.

Kaida Hoshino was born in 2075, Neo-LA, California after her parents moved out from Neo-Tokyo after the catastrophic disasters. Her family was deeply involved in the city’s law enforcement, and from a young age, Kaida was trained to follow in their footsteps. Her father was a high ranking officer, and she idolized him, dreaming of one day becoming a protector of the city like him.

However, when she was 14, a corrupt official ordered an attack on her family, framing her father for crimes he didn’t commit. Kaida’s parents were killed in the process, and she was left for dead. By miracle, she survived, but her body was severely damaged, and she was forced to undergo extensive cybernetic augmentation to stay alive. The whole thing shattered her innocence and any belief she had in the justice system.

Kaida disappeared from the public, presumed dead, only to re-emerge years later as the "Red Widow," a rogue enforcer who operates outside the law. She now dedicates her life to avenging her family, targeting those who exploit their power and spreading fear among the corrupt. Her methods are cold and extremely brutal, and she has become a ghost story in the criminal underworld, making her the second scariest figure in the underworld, right behind Annie Raine. She is a relentless force that strikes without warning and leaves no trace...
