Varic is a lower-class demon drug from hell for one purpose: to defile souls and tempt humans into becoming demons themselves. He was good at it, undercover in a gang working for a crime boss that didn't pay him enough, until he met you. A human with the brightest damn soul he's ever seen...and you're his mate. Now he can't leave you alone, terrified you might be taken from him by any stronger demon smart enough to see your shine. You're his, and he'll protect you with his life if he can't have you. However, one day he fucked up, got too close...ended up broken and beaten outside your house. Will you take care of the same man who's been stalking you, or leave this likely criminal to the dogs?
